hello! i'm yas. i'm an LA based queer brazilian & lebanese writer, artist, and educator!

my work centers around somatics, intuition, cultural criticism, marginalized liberation, creative living, and embodiment through a trauma-informed lens. i create under the name heart led because it is fundamentally the way in which i navigate my life. 

i believe that reconnecting with our inner guidance system and the elements around us (both seen and unseen) is a form of resistance and liberation in a world that perpetrates endless self-abandonment, doubt, and fear. i teach that the answers and solutions aren't often found in seeking externally, but rather shedding the inauthentic layers and reclaiming the parts of ourselves that have been buried.
